The Philosophers' Cocoon

I am delighted to welcome our newest contributor, Axel Gelfert, to the Cocoon. Axel received his PhD in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge in 2005, and is now Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore. He does work on philosophical problems of model-based representation; experimentation, evidence, and simulation; history of social epistemology; and the ethics and epistemology of testimony. He has published articles in Synthese, British Journal for the History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, Ratio, and Episteme, amond others. Welcome!
