I thought I might draw readers' attention to this poignant post by Eric Schliesser relating his struggles and personal growth while on the job market. I, for one, always appreciate posts like this, in part because they can remind us that those of us who face career struggles are not alone, and in part because they can help remind us that struggles can be opportunities for personal growth–but also because it is not easy to share one's personal struggles publicly.
