Now that tenure-track jobs are starting to pile up on philjobs, I just wanted to wish all of our job-marketeering readers the best of luck on the market, and encourage those of you who might have any questions the community might help out with during your search (on applications, interviewing, whatever) to send them to me at marvan@ut.edu. The Cocoon is always here to help, and I'm more than happy to post anonymized queries, so that readers can ask questions without fear of repercussions.
Also, although we're almost but not quite finished with the Job Market Boot Camp (which I hope has been helpful!), here's a quick rundown of the posts we've had so far:
- Building a strong, competitive CV
- Composing the CV itself
- Letters of recommendation
- The European job market
- Job consultants
- Developing a coherent research program
- Cover letters
- Teaching statements
- Research statements
- Social media
- When and where to apply for jobs (addendum)
- Teaching portfolios
- Writing samples
- APA interviews
- Emotional maintenance
- Campus visits
Good luck, everyone!
