I am happy to welcome our newest contributor, Roman Altshuler, to the Cocoon. Roman received his PhD from SUNY Stony Brook in 2010 and is currently Visiting Assistant Professor at Kutztown University. He is interested in ethics, philosophy of action (especially free will), death, and the way a reconsideration of existentialist thinkers might contribute to these fields. He has published on character and agency, narrative identity and free will, death and immortality, and moral status in environmental ethics, in addition to editing a book on philosophy of action (with a few articles on the topic in the pipeline). Welcome!
