Now that the signup period for this season's Job-Market Mentoring Program has passed, I wanted to give readers a quick update and the many mentors who volunteered for the program a shout-out of appreciation.
So far this season, we have matched 29 mentor-mentee pairs, up from 25 last season. We do have about a half-dozen mentees we haven't matched yet–and I want to let them know that we're still working on it! We still have several potential mentors we are trying to match, and hope we will be able to match most (though perhaps not all) of our remaining mentees.
On that note, I'd like to extend my most sincere thanks to the mentors who signed up this year. We very much appreciate your time, effort, and willingness to volunteer in the program, and wish you and your mentees the best of luck on this year's job-market!
