I'm happy to announce that Rögnvaldur ('Valdi') Ingthorsson (Lund University) has joined the blog as our newest contributor. Valdi is a Researcher in Philosophy at Lund University, and is currently temporary senior lecturer at Linköping University. He specializes in philosophy of time and causation, and has published in other areas metaphysics including persistence-conditions and truth. In 2016, he published his first book, McTaggart's Paradox (Routledge), which was also nominated for the APA's 2017 book prize. He is currently working on a manuscript on the powers-based approach to causation entitled, "Scientific Essentialism: Modernising the Aristotelian Account", funded by The Swedish Foundation for Humanities and Social Sciences. He has taught a wide variety of courses, and lives in Oslo with his partner Gerd Monika (a PhD in sports medicine).
