The Philosophers' Cocoon

A reader wrote in suggesting I link to this Nature column on some small things authors should be aware of that can make a difference in peer review. I especially agree with the point about avoiding acronyms. Although many published papers use them, I usually find them unnecessary and tend to think they make papers harder to follow.
