A reader writes in:

We have a job opening at Idaho State University (for a University Policy Manager) that might be of interest to some Cocoon readers, especially in this time when jobs are hard to come by. I think it is also in a similar vein to the post on becoming a project manager from a while back. I'm on the hiring committee and we currently have an underwhelming number of applicants, so I suspect that many Cocoon readers would be highly competitive for the position.

The reader also suggested it might be good to host an open thread crowdsourcing similar opportunities, which I think is a great idea. So I'd like to encourage any readers–particularly those working outside of academia–to list any other current alt-ac job opportunities that philosophers might be competitive for in the comments section below!

The APA blog has an info-post on the Presidential Management Fellowship: https://blog.apaonline.org/2020/09/29/consider-the-presidential-management-fellowship/
It has a two-year window of eligibility and seems worth a look to me!
