I am excited to kick off the Cocoon's new Featured Author series by introducing our first FA, Tomás Bogardus. Tomás received his PhD from AT-Austin in 2011 and is now Assistant Professor at Pepperdine University. He works mainly in metaphysics and epistemology, and is most interested in the mind-body problem and rationality of religious belief. His publications include:

Tomas Bogardus & Chad Marxen (2013). Yes, Safety is in Danger. Philosophia (2):1-14.

Tomas Bogardus (2011). What Certainty Teaches. Philosophical Psychology 25 (2):227 – 243.

Tomas Bogardus (2009). A Vindication of the Equal-Weight View. Episteme 6 (3):324-335.

I'm super-excited to have Tomás on board, and he will be discussing his work — perhaps some of his past work, as well as perhaps some stuff he's presently on — for the next two weeks or so. So, please join me in welcoming Tomás!

Also, a final note, although I do have several other FA's lined up for the months ahead, there is still plenty of room available for anyone who might be interested. Remember, our Featured Author series is open to all early-career people who have published work. This is a chance to share and discuss your work…and who wouldn't like more of that! 🙂
