In our most recent "how can we help you?" thread, a reader asks:

Does anyone have any experience with permanently closing their PhilPapers account? I have decided to do so for personal reasons (no beef at all with PP), submitted a request, but not heard back from them. My guess is that since probably no one does this, they are not used to getting this type of request. I'd be happy if someone at PP reads this and takes action!

While I haven’t tried to close it, I’ve had trouble editing mine recently too. More specifically, I’ve had trouble combining several versions of the same paper into the same entry.
I sent them a specific query about this a month ago and received a reply saying they had technical problems and a large backlog at the moment. Perhaps this is a similar issue?

I had an issue where I accidentally added a paper multiple times back in March. I immediately reported it, and it wasn’t until July that it was actually fixed. So my guess is if you have submitted a request it will just take them about 3-4 months to get to it!
