This funny sketch, performed by John Cleese and Jonathan Miller, nicely illustrates the common stereotype of the absentminded, detached, and eccentric philosopher. Is this stereotype bad for philosophy (as a profession)? If so, what can/should we do about it?

I came across this unpublished manuscript posted by Tamler Sommers the other day at Philpapers. It's entitled, "Free Will and Experimental Philosophy: An Intervention", and it's a real hoot.
