In our most recent "how can we help you?" thread, a reader drew my attention to the British Philosophical Association's Resources for Early Career Philosophers page.

It contains a lot of really helpful stuff, including tip sheets for the job-market, applying for grants and fellowship, publishing, grappling with mental health challenges, and starting a new job, along with a number of sample job-market materials and resources for pursuing alternative, non-academic career paths.

It looks like a really great resource!

  1. Jean Jacques Rousseau

Oh no! The philosopher B in the sample section, his identity was not hidden. You can see his name and signature. Some one should inform BPA. I wish I knew philosopher A’s name since it looks like they are working and interested in stuff I like.

  2. Philosopher A’s identity is also not hidden; the “title” property of the file of the CV (which you can see via e.g. a PDF reader) has their name. This is true of E and G too.

  3. So is the case with C. The header of the cover letter displays the name.
